Married women get Pakistani citizenship
Under section 10 of the Pakistani Citizenship Act 1951, If any women who has been married to a citizen of Pakistan or to person who but for his death would have been a citizen of Pakistan under section 3, 4, 5 of Pakistan Citizenship Act 1951 (which means her husband was citizen at the time of this law, or citizen by birth or citizen by descent) shall be entitled on making application therefore to the Federal Government in the prescribed manner and if she is an alien on obtaining a certificate of domicile and taking the oath of allegiance in the form shall be registered as citizen of Pakistan.
If a woman has been married to a person who but for his death could have been a citizen of Pakistan under section 6 whether migrated as proved in that section or is deemed under the proviso to section 7 to have so migrated) shall be entitled for the citizenship of Pakistan.
This law is only for the female married women who marry with Pakistani men. But through this law any male cannot claim and cannot get citizenship of Pakistan on the ground that he has been married with Pakistan women. This law exclusively for women who has been married with Pakistan men.
